Purpose in What We Do

The staff of the Kiwanis Nursing Home are a dedicated team, committed to providing 24-hour care that profoundly enriches the lives of our residents. Every day, their hard work focuses on nurturing the spiritual, physical, and emotional well-being of each individual under their care. They understand that true well-being encompasses more than just physical health, striving to create an environment where residents feel valued, supported, and have their holistic needs met around the clock.

Nursing
Nursing staff are responsible for the overall nursing care and well-being of Kiwanis residents. Our team includes Registered Nurses, Licensed Practical Nurses, and Resident Attendants. In addition, Kiwanis has an on-site Activities Coordinator and a Rehabilitation Assistant, all working together to support a holistic level of care.

Dietary
Dietary staff are responsible for delivering comprehensive food services, including the preparation and distribution of meals and beverages for residents at Kiwanis Nursing Home. An on-site dietitian collaborates with the dietary team to ensure all meals are nutritionally balanced and tailored to meet individual dietary needs and preferences.

Environmental Services
Environmental Services staff are responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and comfortable environment within the Home. They provide both housekeeping and laundry services to support the daily living needs of Kiwanis residents.

Maintenance
Maintenance staff are responsible for performing preventive maintenance on the nursing home’s buildings, mechanical equipment, and utility systems to ensure a safe and functional environment.

Administration
Administrative staff are responsible for carrying out a range of clerical and administrative duties in accordance with nursing home requirements.
